Sime Darby Industrial
Sime Darby's Industrial Division is one of the five core divisions of the Sime Darby Group, a Malaysia-based diversified multinational brand with interests in plantation, property, industrial solutions, motors, and logistics. Sime Darby Industrial is capable of offering a comprehensive variety of equipment and services, but the company’s previous core business system only covered 40% of their business processes and was supported by a number of additional applications. As a result, Sime Darby Industrial needed to determine how to scale and handle its growth.
In 2012, Sime Darby Industrial selected XAPT and Microsoft Dynamics® AX 2012 as its ERP Solution over SAP to deliver an end-to-end system across ten countries to fulfill the requirements of the business and its customer case.
